Plyform

If you are working on any concrete forming projects, you will at some point need to use plyform to complete the job.

Also known as BBOES, plyform is non-overlaid plywood that is sanded down, oiled, and has sealed edges. We stock pine but can source other species such as Russian Birch.

What is CDX, BCX, ACX, etc?

Refers to the different grades of lumber so, for example, CDX means that one side is C grade, the other is D grade and the X means that the lumber is meant for exterior use.

What are dado and rabbet cuts?

Dado and rabbet cuts are used in woodworking projects to make stronger joints. Dadoes are flat-bottomed recesses that strengthen supporting shelves and connecting panels.

How do I know what grade I want on my lumber?

The grading of lumber has more to do with the look of lumber or its intended use. CDX is the most commonly used panel, but for certain applications, a higher grade is required.
